Billently provides invoicing, client management, billing, and related communication features for freelancers, small businesses, and online businesses. By using Billently, you agree to the data practices described below.
Information We Collect
- Account data such as your username, email address, and login credentials.
- Business and invoice data such as your business name, client details, invoice items, totals, currency, payment details, notes, and branding settings.
- Billing and payment records such as payment references, plan selection, subscription state, and transaction history.
- Technical data such as browser type, IP-related security signals, and usage logs needed to secure the platform and diagnose errors.
How We Use Your Information
- To create, store, and deliver invoices and invoice links.
- To manage your account, plan limits, and subscription status.
- To send password reset emails, invoice emails, reminders, and product communications you trigger or agree to receive.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, spam, unauthorized access, and service misuse.
Cookies and Similar Storage
Billently uses limited browser storage and essential cookies to keep parts of the service working. This includes a guest usage cookie used to enforce invoice limits before account creation and protect the service from abuse. This cookie is not used for advertising.
Payments
Payments and subscription events may be processed through third-party payment providers. We store the transaction details needed to confirm payment status, enforce plan limits, and show billing history. We do not intend to store full card details on Billently servers.
Email Communications
Billently may send account-related emails such as password resets, invoice delivery emails, invoice reminders, and billing notices. Broadcast or product update emails are sent only through internal admin tools.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only with service providers needed to operate Billently, such as payment processors, email infrastructure providers, hosting providers, and security tooling.
Data Retention
We retain account, invoice, billing, and related operational data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce platform rules.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so you should also protect your account credentials and use a strong password.

- You can update certain account and business details from your account settings.
- You can contact us if you need help with account or data-related requests.
- You can stop using the service at any time, subject to outstanding legal or billing obligations.
Children
Billently is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
